00 Question
What can you tell about a grid from its cracks? What is repetition’s place in revolution?
01 Presentation
In May 2019, I held a workshop at Gynasium in response to Mira Dayal's A Hairline Crack. Participants were asked to draw a pattern using red pen, black pen, and graph paper. If and when they messed up their pattern, they were asked to say ‘drop’ [1] out loud to the group to generate a new pattern from their ‘mistake’.
